Georgia football has become the first team in the college football playoff era to come back to back and here are the visceral reactions to a dominating national championship win.

The college football national championship game ended up being a repeat fest, at least if for everyone it’s not a Georgia Football fan.

For Bulldogs fans, it was the perfect end to a perfect season that will end with a 15-0 record. Georgia football didn’t beat Alabama in 2022 and didn’t get the chance, but other than that, this season had it all.

More importantly, at least compared to last year’s national championship, it also includes a perfect record and an SEC title which makes it even more impressive, especially since UGA is now the first repeat national champion. of the playoff era thanks to a 65-7 win over TCU.

Georgia football team last year was better. But this one will end up being more accomplished, and Stetson Bennett – a key figure in both – will become one of the best winners college football has seen at quarterback in a long time.

I don’t know if the former extra is good enough to succeed in the NFL. But he’s played well and topped just about every team he’s faced in college football, so I’d at least give him a shot, although having Brock Bowers and the best offensive line in college football l surely helps to look good.

Either way, it was a night Georgia football fans will remember forever, and here are some visceral reactions to a dominating national championship victory for the Dawgs.

Visceral reactions to the National College Football Championship

  • Georgia is the best team since Nebraska in 1994-95. It reminded me of the Fiesta Bowl victory when Nebraska crushed Steve Spurrier to win two in a row.
  • Kirby Smart has now passed master Nick Saban as the king of college football.
  • Stetson Bennett will be remembered as a legend, as it should be. Georgia does not win this national title without him.
  • His performance was legendary and the game was over after his fourth touchdown of the first half.
  • Bennett finished with six total touchdowns and like I said, he deserves a shot in the NFL. He will also become one of the best Georgian football players of all time.
  • TCU was not ready for this step.
  • The Horned Frogs would not have won the championship in a 12-team playoff.
  • Alabama reportedly and the Tide are the only team I would like to see play in Georgia.
  • The Georgian defense is anything but a weakness. Monday night was amazing.
  • Congratulations to Kirby Smart, the best defensive mind in college football.
  • Max Duggan’s magic has finally run out. First half interceptions were deadly.
  • Georgia almost always wins the running game. He rushed for over 200 and TCU held under 50. That’s one reason for a blowout.
  • Football is a simple game and Georgia does the essential things better than anyone, like winning in the trenches.
  • A hat-trick seems like a real possibility. Bennett will be the hardest to replace, but we were reminded that stars matter and Georgia football matters as much as anyone.
  • Georgia is the new college football dynasty.
