Now that the 2022 NFL Season is coming to an end, bettors can start watching how their futures win/lose bets have played out this year.

Bid on securities futures is fun, but betting on total wins is even more exciting towards the end of the season. There’s nothing quite like sweating it out during the final weeks of football season, especially if you’ve got a few bucks to spend on fun.

With the playoffs starting this weekend, it’s a good time to take stock of this season NFL projected win totals and see how your team (and bets) performed (all pre-season win totals via FOX bet):

A few snippets:

  • The New York Jets were a fashionable preseason pick to win the Super Bowl. The Jets proved that ‘trend’ doesn’t always mean ‘winning’ as they stumbled to a 7-10 record and failed to make the playoffs, but New York took the wins of more than 5.5.
  • There are always doubts about Kirk Cousins, but the Vikings quarterback proved them wrong as Minnesota (13-4) eclipsed their projected 8.5 win total. You like this?
  • The San Francisco 49ers were one of the most pleasant surprises. Despite losing their top two quarterbacks to injury, the 49ers (O/U 9.5) are 13-4 and won the NFC West Division.
  • The Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) easily surpassed their 8.5 win total after starting the season 8-0.
  • Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8-9 finished the NFC South Division but failed to pay for more than 11.5 winning odds.
