SI’s Dan Wetzel, Pat Forde and Ross Dellenger recap all the biggest signings and transfers that took place on National College Football Signing Day.
After implementing an early signing period in December, the traditional National Signing Day lost some of its luster, but there was still plenty of movement. The Arizona State Sun Devils had a big offseason bringing 46 new players to the roster to play under new head coach Kenny Dillingham. At the top of Arizona State’s recruiting class is quarterback Jaden Rashada, who after being released from Florida following their NIL debacle, opted to head west and play for the Sun Devils.
The South Carolina Gamecocks managed to lock down 5-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor as they tried to fight for more sway in the SEC. Former Washington Husky quarterback Sam Huard decided to head to FCS to follow his high school coach and play at Cal Poly in the Big Sky Conference.
With the Senior Bowl happening this week, the gang is speculating what Stetson Bennett stands to gain by not participating in the traditional launch pad to the NFL. Does Bennett even want to play professional football?
Finally, a group of Illinois basketball fans tried to take over the University of Iowa in a whole new way.
